brandi williams, affectionately called bea by friends and colleagues, is an award-winning and Accredited public relations professional turned broker for change who uses her diverse public relations background to negotiate opportunities, equity and liberation for black people through workshops, programs and events that educate and provide tools for black people to BEAthechange. she is also the founder of the nue feminist movement and a cultural curator, offering ways to celebrate and highlight black culture through lifestyle products.
as a woman in a family led by strong black women, bea is passionate about helping black women succeed. to that end, she is the founder co-founder of ASATA, an awards program honoring the contributions of #blackwomen grassroots leaders and community influencers. she has been known to dish #thedamntruth through commentary on women’s issues and black and brown people for various online publications, including Hellobeautiful.com, NewsOne.com, Essence.com and QCityMetro.com.
she is a fierce advocate for mental health because she survives anxiety and depression daily.
